Saw an HK import marked Benelli at a local gun show. It had a wood stock and appeared to be an M1 but I'm not an expert on these. Did they ever come in wood stock? The ones I've seen are black.

Also, how well do they shoot? Any problems for those who own them?

Lastly, it was selling for $600. Almost bought it but didn't know enough about it to warrant an impulse buy.

I've tried searching on the net, here and other forums but there's not much info, and I didn't see a wood stock.

Any info would be appreciated. Thanks!

GREAT guns. Got one w/a 9-shot tube abused in three-gun shoots. Prices VERY high today -- use that as your barometer.

Goggle 'Benelli M121'. Based on your description, that's what I think you saw. It's a classic, old school semiauto shotgun and has a bit of a cult following. I wouldn't mind having one.

VA27 I think you nailed it! Hmmm, makes me regret not buying it.
