Just want to praise this scope's virtues. It can be had in either VX1 or VX2 versions. I have the VX1 version, at around $200. I'm not the first to recommend Leupold due to value issues normally, but this scope is flat-out awesome for the price:
--Dials down to true 1.0x; makes it good for a variety of quick-in-action rifles (including AR and other 'EBR' styles)
--Very good eye relief
--Clear and high quality, as you'd expect from Leupold
--Lightweight and low profile, particularly in the front (straight tube), allows you to mount it low without interfering with existing rear sights
