I wanted an adjustable Bo-Mar sight on my CZ, but didn't like the cuts needed for the install. I decided to parallel cut the dovetail. I wonder has anyone else done this before. Works really well, so far.

By parallel I take it to mean the dovetail is milled front to back rather then side to side?

Pretty neat install if it stays on.

Did you pin it to the slide, or use a set-screw, or?

rcmodel,

Yes, front to back, just like CZ uses on their front sights. The Bo-Mar uses a 6/48 screw tapped into the slide, plus there is a set screw, plus, the fit is tight. I may, as precaution, put a little blue loctite on the sight/slide dovetail interface.

I'm going to get this pistol running and get some rounds down range to see what happens.
