anyone know the cheapest place to get clips? and i had read somewhere and cant find it now but someone had a conversion for it to accept ar clips...any help would be appreciated

Don't know about any conversions for AR mags, but it wouldn't surprise me if there was such a conversion to a .223 AK type gun.

Cheap factory mags are probably through CDNN Investments.com

CDNN has the "Weigar" steel .223 mags for SAR-3. That's a possible conversion. The mags run about $20. Be sure to watch parts count to keep it legal.
