Any way to get a fairly inexpensive, but rugged, ghost ring rear sight that would match up with a Trijicon/Wilson combat front sight blade? I have a line on a barrel with the front sight blade installed, but I would need the rear sight, as my 870 Express is the standard slick-top model.

Adding $100-ish to the pricetag, plus installation, makes the deal look a little less exciting. ;) I'm not averse to paying for quality, but if I'm going to pay that much money, plus the barrel, it would make more sense to go a different route.

Thanks,

Mike

Old School here, Mike, but you know that.

Both Lyman and Williams make peep sights that will work and not cost a bundle. Install by drill and tap, remove the aperture and Voila!! A GR sight of rugged and classic design.

One of mine wears a Williams Foolproof. the other a Lyman 58. The Lyman had better adjustments, the Williams's a little cheaper.

HTH....
