Hello I have NE Firearms 10 ga. with a super full turkey choke. I would like an Improved Cylinder choke or modified to use with buckshot (Oh my!) What type of chokes are usable in this shotgun. I know that Remchokes don't fit.

unless i am sadly mistaken i recall that both win-chokes and the browning invector chokes both fit the standard screw patterns of the NEF's. i dont know if the mossy accu-chokes fit due to their depth but i think the thread patterns are the same.

I use an Browning Invector Xtra Full choke tube in my 10GA NEF Turkey gun...Nicknamed her "Street Sweeper."

You can get a mod choke off the NEF web site, what I did. But, since, I've found out that Browning invector chokes for the BPS 10 work. Buddy was down for a goose hunt and we swapped chokes just to make sure. :D
I got no use for that turkey choke it came with, but I have it if I ever need it. I mostly toss steel T shot at geese with mine, but it also patterns 00 pretty well, mid 80 percent range at 40 yards, with the mod choke. I have a WMA near me that's buckshot only for hogs. I hunted a total of two mornings last year, Feb and March being the open season. I'm going to hunt more, I SWEAR, this season. I know where the pigs are, just a matter of spending time out there.
Oddest thing, my buddy bought a Improved Modified (tighter than mod, more open than full) choke tube for his Browning. Now, my choke will screw into his gun and his choke will screw into mine, but that particular choke tube will not screw into his gun, as if the threads are bummed up. It goes in almost all the way, then it gets tight. It screws all the way to the bottom of my gun. So, he gave it to me. I might try a buckshot pattern it it, might improve that. I'm shooting a low 90 percent pattern on the T shot for geese with the mod choke, though. Hard to improve on that one. :D
