I just ordered a M6 (http://www.springfield-armory.com/prod-m6-m6rifles.shtml) survival rifle in 22H/410. I'd like to pick up a soft case to store it folded with a bunch of ammo in my car, as well as a handy package to throw in the canoe, backpack, etc.. Can someone who owns one of these tell me the dimensions of this gun when folded? (I'll be removing the handguard)

I'm planning on ordering this (http://www.midwayusa.com/rewriteaproduct/100559) case for it, 12" X 20" if it will fit, there's also one that's 12" X 24".
