A Response to "All is Well"

I just recieved my first response to the rant that I wrote called "All is Well". Thought I would share it with you.

http://www.nycasa.com/newsletters/newsletter/652245/3539.htm

Reader response:

You know a lot of this stuff is true but I hate these racist ???????s that always look for someone black to blame for their problems. Oprah does more to help people of all races while ???????s like this just talk. And the "Civil Rights Movement" causes racial tension? Only to racist! If it wasn't for racism in this country there would have never been a need for a civil rights movement period! Thats the typical blame the victim for the crime, the same kind of people that get angry at a woman who was raped for having a vagina! I'm tired of that weak bull????. And you dont need to have a gun to be a man. There are plenty of thugs in the street who have guns who are nothing without them.

My Reply:

When I speak of knowing what it is to be a man, I speak of men recognizing the greater role of firearms ownership. Embracing the responsability of securing a home, family and a nation. Standing ready to defend freedom and life for all. NOT CRIMINALS AND THUGS WITH GUNS. You missed the point.

Out of the many "rants", one was about racism (civil rights movement & KKK) and the other of how some in a tremendous position of influence (Oprah) live with their head in the sand. Using that power to paint a very one sided and unrealistic picture. Both had nothing to do with color but corruption. You missed the point.

Calling me a racist is the typical response to anyone who dares rattle the cage. To shut me down. To silence the objective voice. Calling me a racist was way off target, but Im not surprised. Even if I am a latino American.

The same thing happens on cop forums. You question any police action, rattle the cage as you say, and immediatly you are a cop hater, or a moron, or an idiot, or any number of nice little labels applied by these crusaders of PC.

Very well written article. Kudos to you sir.

How could anyone of semi-normal intelligence read that and not understand what you are saying?

Never mind I just answered my own question. ;)

I guess people who live in a land of make believe have difficulty believing.

His argument starts falling apart bout now....

How do you rationalize the thought that the civil rights movement causes more racial annimosity thatn the KKK? The KKK has killed Blacks Jews and Gentiles in the name of racial purity! The only people murdered during the civil rights movement were Blacks who stood up for equal rights and the Whites who agreed with them and they were all killed by the KKK and their off spring groups! There is no justification for that type of ideaology! Thats pureracist propaganda! It just takes the blame away from the guilty. Oprah is a woman whon helps other women build their self esteem and has given homes to victims of tragedies, given automobiles to people that need them given moneyto have schools built and given money for people to get higher education! Theres nothing you can say to defame her in the eyes of most of the people in this country who knows what she does including me! Thats just hatred of women! Nothing makes some men feel more threatened than to see a woman successful, especially if shes a so called "Minority!". You should know better!

My response:

#1 The civil rights movement ended with KING!!! The civil rights movement was about equality and justice for all!!! Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson have hijacked that movement long ago. Using it to further their own fortunes and selfish ambitions. They stir up racism and strife while not attacking racism as a whole. Yes, BLACK RACISM!!! Im tired of the pot calling the kettle black!!! While they are trying to extort money from me for the crimes of others. And promoting through racial preference while they condemn favoritism?

Here is a little fact, since we are talking about "civil rights". How is it that if latinos now make up the largest minority group in NYC, that the MTA is predominantly black? @#%$, where are my civil rights????? I took the test YEARS AGO!!!

The "DREAM" is freedom for all. Equality for all. Not the over representation of one group by the abuse of speech to stir up hard feelings and prevent any hope of healing. They are frauds and the biggest racists I know!!! And Im glad that the country is finally waking up to this bull????!

Yes, the civil rights movement of today has generated more racial
tension than the KKK. Because it is not interested in confronting the
human condition of racism, but only white racism.

#2 Criticizing Oprah is hating women???? Thats a pretty sweeping
indictment dont you think? That is a very broad generalization, no?
If she was a man I would still have something to say! I would have
something to say to anyone who was successful that I did not agree
with! It does not matter.

I can see now that you are not interested in seeking the color blind
truth as I am, so I will end it here. But let me ask you this.

If we cant honestly approach all the issues that we face as a nation on the basis of truth. Than what hope, what future will we be leaving behind for those we love?

Of course! If not for imaginary enemies, leftist extremists would have to confront themselves.

I have been wondering for quite a while, since Oprah, whom I have much respect for, did an ENTIRE show, with Mikey More as a guest, promoting his mocumentary movie, Bowling For Columbine, when is she going to devote an entire program to Charleton Heston or Tom Sellick or anyone else exposing the distortions of BFC and presenting the real facts?

It's a dang shame that she hasn't interviewed our esteemed THR member the Reverend Kenn Mr. Blanchard.

What gets me about his response is that, while he agrees that much of what is said is true, he manages to discuss only these topics out of all that was available. And it wasnt an actual discussion but more that he was reading from a script. And this is actually a man who knows me. :(

" First off I know that the civil rights movement died with
King! A white man with clan affiliation killed him. That was the end of that movement
period! There has been no civil rights movement since, So I don't know what
movement you're talking about now? "
*******************************************************
Response:
The "Dream" , the dream. You know the dream right? Or
did you, like the others, choose to forget?

********************************************************
"Save the Black Racism bull????! Your people have only been in
this country for about 70 years"
*********************************************************
Response:

So black racism does not exist? I just recently sent you an article
written by a black man who stated that almost 50% of the crimes committed against whites in this country are from blacks. Yeah, Sharpton. Jackson and the NOI has no effect on people.

My people? Im living in the present. I was born here. I am an American.
So because I am not 400 years old, I dont deserve a place? I dont have a say? Puerto-ricans are less human?

Didnt the europeans feel the same way about the indians when they came simply because they believed that "they only" had a history?

Your better than all the rest of us now?

*********************************************************

"You know nothing of the struggles that blacks,
Indians and Asians had in this country for 400 years before you got
here! , so until you have a better understanding of the things that
happened in this country before your migration you shouldn't pretend
to know them!
*********************************************************
Response:
Again with the 400 years? How old are you? I have been here since
1964. Do I need to be that old in order to know hardship and struggle? Or do I need to be black in order to have an opinion without being called a racist? You dont really want to talk about the BLACK egyptians and, by your logic, how much you owe the jews do you?

********************************************************
Did you get a test score back for yourself? How
well did you do?:
********************************************************
Response:
Oh, so now your smarter than me too? So affirmative action is
only good to empower blacks but if a latino questions the racial imbalance of an organization, its because we are dumb?? I have heard whites use this argument against affirmative action. Interesting.
*******************************************************
"Stir up hard feelings? The only ones with hard feelings are
us? White people in this country have never taken responsibility for their crimes
againt us. the Indians or the Asians! But they use every resource to catch war
criminals from Germany to apease the jewish population! "
*******************************************************
Response:
Its interesting how you can claim that all black people are not guilty of
following Sharpton, yet not distiguish that all white people are not guilty of a crime
simply by the color of their skin. You dont see the hypocrisy in that?

Also, what crime against you? What was done to YOU? Didnt you just
tell me that my success or failure depends on me? Didnt you just tell me to forget that "black racism bull????"?

Holocaust victims are still alive (you dont hate jews now do you?).
Slaves are not, nor are those whites responsable. Forget that white
racism bull????.

*******************************************************

" Now about the Oprah thing, is she a politician or law maker?
Does she hold any political office whatsoever? She a host of a television show,
Period! A show that has really helped empower a lot of people, women in paticular
so why the hatred? I'll tell you why, you like a lot of other men that you
admire are intimidated by a woman like her. To see a woman from missisippi who
grew up during Jim Crow's heyday succed the way she does hurts you! Your ego
can't take that! She like most women react on an emotional level so she like to
nuture simpiler things and she sucessful at it so you need to beat her down
to feel good about yourself!"
********************************************************
Response:

Is she a GOD? No, she is a talk show host with tremendous influence
on society. Does that mean that if I dare criticize her, that I hate
women? That I have a low self-esteem? Come on man, are you kidding me? Do I
not have a right to criticize her if I have an opinion that disagrees
with her?Or is it because she is black, that she, in your eyes, cant be
touched? If I criticized anybody else, would you have responded in
this way? Dont think so.

********************************************************
"To finish this I have to say that there has never been any
honesty about race relations in this country thats why we're still at odds!"
********************************************************
Response:
Judging from this conversation , Im not surprised.

Out of all of the issues that I raised in my piece, it was only these
two issues that you commented on. And I resent the fact that you
would call me a racist while using some of the most twisted and racist logic I have ever
heard. All because I have an opinion. I have a voice. I have something to say. And I find it interesting that you would label my opinion "pure racist propaganda" yet admit in the recent past that the NOI has preached hatred but still defended them. It defines "hypocrisy" Dave. It really does. But you proved my point.

Well, heres to "keeping it real"....later man.

Perhaps you should remind him of the Long Island Railway shooter who only shot White people.

How about the guy, goaded by Sharpton, who burned down a clothing store in Harlem after he had chased out all of the Blacks. He and seven Whites died in the blaze.

Also remind hoim that, for all of its evils, slavery was the best thing that ever happened to African Blacks. It is by that act that he is here, living in a real building, typing on a computer, driving a car, and having gotten an education at public expense instead of running around the Savannah herding cattle in a loincloth; or lying dead of his machete wounds; or AIDS; or Dengue Fever; or Beri Beri; or Yellow Fever; or Ebola. If he is lucky, maybe he would be one of the men allowed to live when the Islamists come for more slaves in Sudan.

He should thank his lucky stars that he lives in a place where Blacks have a life expectancy beyond 30. Where the best health care is available to everyone regardless of skin color. Where he can criticize the government without being thrown into a room with 99 other people all armed with sledgehammers and the last one standing gets to live.

He needs to stop living in the past an start living in the present. If he really wants to do something about slavery, he should do what he can to free the slaves in the Sudan. Maybe he could counsel the women and young girls who are taken for sexual purposes; providing they even want to talk to a man after their ordeal.

He doesn't know what he's got or how good he's got it. He is one of these people who needs something to b---- about and White people and non-existent slavery are the tools of his trade.
