What is the best way to mount a sling to the barrels of a side by side? Just bought a Savage 511 and am now trying to figure out how to get a sling on this thing.

get a tactical at the ready slide on sling so you dont have to drill, it just slides on

Cabela's has some nice one , meant for SxS that loop over the barrels and stock - not sure if that is the type you want, but it's a start

Sights? on a SxS? Your eyes are the sights, even for comp games

Scroll down. No drilling, and it doesn't interfere with the sight picture.

That said, I just carry a Quake in my vest and slip it on when I have to take a leak, tie my shoe, or whatever. I have having a sling on a shotgun.:)

Yea I don't have a sling on the shotgun I have been using but I want one for this sxs for some reason.
