They are always showing adds, save money live better. On alot of items, food, partys, football partys, all kinds of stuff!

Well why can you not show ammo on your tv adds? why can you not show a Father and Son buying ammo to go hunting!? :banghead:

Every new walmart I see carrys NO guns but ammo. All older walmarts(not many) have guns.

I went to a walmart once and all they had where blackpowerd guns and alot common ammo.

Probably the same reason they don't show people fishing, riding bicycles, camping, playing video games etc. They want their ads to appeal to the broadest audience. Everyone can relate to eating or wearing clothes. Many Walmarts don't carry guns or ammo and that's a business decision not really an anti 2A issue. Places where it's a PITA to buy a gun (like NJ) or the sales didn't make it worth their space that was taken up. They found they could make more money putting something else there than guns and ammo.

Because more people spend more money on groceries and clothes??

Really, now.......advertising costs money - they go for the biggest "bang" for the buck, and it isn't guns or ammo........nor has it been for about 2 decades - where have you been?

when i worked there before college the management announced that the chain would be pulling firearms from its metro stores and from areas where hunting was not popular enough to turn a profit on. The corporate side has become so politically correct after Sam Walton died its untelling what kind of monstrosity that you would see on tv if they actually attempted a hunting/firearm commercial.

Wal Mart, and most retailers, advertise what is selling big.

Hunting stuff just isn't big revenue in the majority of their stores.

West Texas Wal Marts advertise guns, deer corn, and camo VERY heavily around hunting season but I can't imagine the revenue is worth putting a national TV ad out for it.

Have to stop seeing an anti-gun undertone in everything that happens...... seriously. It's not nearly that bad out there.....

That's not called political corectness, it's called knowing how to run a business.

I wonder if scrapbooking forums have posts complaining that Walmart isn't advertising scissors and glitter in their national campaigns.
