Not sure what you mean. What it sounds like is a small kit of replacment parts, typically small parts that are more prone to breakage. Firing pin, that little kotter key, trigger parts, extractor, etc.
Probably a good idea to have such a kit for whatever rifle you own, actually.

I was at a gunshow today. Saw these there:
AR15/M-16 Repack Kit .223 caliber
This Repack Kit Contains the following items:
1 ea. Bandoleer-new style
12 ea. Strippers
1 ea. charger/loader
4 ea. Cardboards
Your cost is $5.00+$4.00 S&H
Just curious what these things are for....Tim

OH-H-H....
The idea is that you load up the stripper clips and stuff, so you can reload your magazines when they're all empty. You can carry more ammo in a bandolier than you can in magazines, but obviously you have to load it inot the mags for it to be of any use.
Unless you're planning on walking point on a 3-day patrol, you probably won't find much use for this.

I got the repack kits in the BOB for the M1A. I think its a good idea. I don't use them for general use though. They do make charging mags faster and ammo packs away neater & flatter than in boxes.
