I have a Springfield which came equiped with a set of Novak 3 dot sights. I want to convert her to night sights, so I can use her at work (nightshift) but the only ones I have found so far for Springfield are for the XP. Won't the Novak's for a Colt work? There are several sizes(?) in the Colt line and to be honest I just don't know what I'm looking for. I would rather buy them myself and take them to my gunsmith rather than have him buy them and up-charge me. Thoughts?

I would not bet that Springfield uses standard Colt dovetails for Novac sights.
