RCBS has GREAT customer service I bought a used 7.62 x 39 die set on Ebay that was missing the .311 expander ball. They sent me the whole decapper assembly for FREE. RCBS is A++++

i had problems with my scale about a month ago. they sent me the new part
no charge. the best customer service. been using their reloading equipment
for 40 yrs.

They have sent me tons of replacement parts for all of my presses, and most of the replacement parts were due to negligent from the person I inherited it from. I have been more then pleased with their customer service as my progressive is no longer made (1992ish) but shares parts with some some kind of generic autoloader they still stock parts for. Needless to say I didn't know what I had and they were willing to keep shipping me parts until I got what what worked. Even had a guy go out into the stocking area and measure parts to make sure I was getting the right parts, and free shipping...

I called to buy a new style ball-knob press handle for my 1970 Rock Chucker a couple of years ago.

They ask me what was wrong with my old one, and I told them the straight handle on mine was hurting my arthritic old hands after extended use.

The sent me a new style ball handle the same day.

Free!

I have never been able to pay for an RCBS replacement part in 40 years!
Even when they had nothing at all to do with the reason for the replacement.

They aren't the cheapest- but among the best.
Actually, I get great service from the "cheap" reloading parts manufacturers, too. Lee has excellent service.
But the Rock Chucker guys n gals have a rep for being #1, well deserved. You don't even have to buy their stuff new (which I never have).

My experience mirrors rc's (even to the arthritic hands :( ) with RCBS and also with Dillon. I'm almost embarrassed to call them because their first move is to send replacement parts, even if not certainly broken, gratis. I haven't had to call Hornady or the others but I am sure it would be the same. We are lucky to be in a hobby/avocation/obsession where the suppliers are just like us: avid shooters/reloaders/hunters. I had an issue with Lee about 25 years ago, quibbling over my broken lifetime guaranteed decapper that some woman at Lee said was no longer guaranteed, but my indignation prevailed and I've not had to re-adress it (who says I don't hold grudges...) Guess it's holding up as originally designed. I say, buy from whomever you choose with the almost certain knowledge that the maker will stand by it, on the reloading side anyway.

I have had my .223 sizing die repolished a couple times, all no charge. A friend says I should buy the Lee dies as they are cheaper. I looked in to it and Lee's warrenty is 2 years, RCBS lifetime. For a couple $ it will be RCBS for me. They have always be very nice to work with. Great customer service, other companies could learn from then.

Ditto to both. I've had good experience with RCBS and my Rock Chucker, and just recently with Dillon Precision with my new 550. I was having problems with cartriges fitting into a Lee Factory Crimp die on the downstroke, and Dillon customer service sent me an allignment tool for free. It came in less than a week. It's also nice these days to talk to real people rather than having to spend 5 minutes pressing keys on the phone.

I have used their customer service many times. They always go above and beyond the call of duty for me.

Sent an e-mail on Monday asking for part number for replacement decap pin on the Universal die.
Reply: we'll send you some!

Great company....will continue to support them.

RCBS earned my brand loyalty over 30 years ago because of the quality and their customer service policies. They're the Sears Craftsman Tools of the reloading equipment industry. *You break it, we replace it. No questions asked."

RCBS sent me a new expander/decap assembly the other day for free. I dont even reload anything 30 cal! I do have dies though. I have no idea why they sent it to me.

I have an old .357 sizer die that has a 7/16-20 thread in it. I sent an email to RCBS asking if they had a decapper for it. They said sure, send us your address & we'll mail one to you. Can't beat that.
I also have a Redding powder measure that I drilled the drop tube out on. Since I'm now loading a .22 I asked about buying a replacement drop tube. Again, one was sent N/C.
