Hey, I was just reading the "best lie a gun dealer has ever told you" thread and just wandered if anyone has been to Strictly Shooting in E-ville and if the guys there were honestly pricing and informing as I am new to firearms (buying, not shooting btw) and would love some advice.

I go to Strictly Shooting for 90% of my shooting needs. While pretty much all gun shops have their horror stories, SS has done me right without fail. Their pricing is certainly better than what you will find at Dick's or Gander Mountain here in the Evansville area.

I've bought several guns from them as well as accessories. Heck, they even put the accessories on for me free of charge (not that I needed them too, but it was a nice touch). If nothing else, they are nice guys.

I don't drop a ton of money there (mainly just shooting once ever other week for half and hour and buying a little ammo), but they know who I am when i come in the place. Tell them Jake the pool guy sent ya. If it's one of the regulars they will probably know who I am:p
