With my new Springfield Garand. Shooting PS Korean ammo, which is actually turned out to be accurate, just pretty dirty.

I was shooting one of those tiny air gun shoot-n-c targets.

I'm pretty happy for my first attempts.

Congratulations on moving toward long range! Not bad for your first time at that distance.

With a bit of practice, I'll bet you can get similar or better groups than that at 100 yards. The Garand was made for that. You may want to move to a bigger bullseye, though, so you can see it better at 100 yards.

Sounds like you are really enjoying your Garand. Great rifle.

Get a bigger target, and move it out to 150 yards or so..

Or else, do what I did, start shooting steel plates @ 300 yards first... You will find after that, 150 yards, you are like "WOW, the target is sooo big!!"

Good groups. Garands are more than capable of shooting those same groups at 150 yards.

Thats true. I think of beer cans and soft balls "Big" targets at 150. I throw in a golf ball for a challenge. =)

I should have tried 50 yards instead of jumping out to 100 yards my first time... since I didn't have a spotting scope at the time... and the sites were not adjusted...
