Do i need to crimp when loading 22-250 in a 15" Thompson Contender Pistol? I will be target shooting only and accuracy is my main concern. Also should i full length resize each time or just the mouth sizing only. If mouth size only how long can i go before full length sizing.
Thanks for any info.

You do not need to crimp the bullet in place. Full length size if you have problems inserting the round into the chamber or if you have brass that have been shot in another firearm.

No crimp needed. FLRS each time because of the action type. But control how much you bump the shoulder back. Put a shim .005" thick, (soda can metal) between the shell holder and FLRS die when adjusting your die. Put a hole in the shim for the decapper pin with a paper punch. If sized brass dont chamber, remove the shim.

Neck sizing is a process that is reserved for turn bolt action firearms ONLY. For your break action you'll have to FL resize every time with special care taken to make sure you don't push the shoulder back too far, this is CRITICAL to get anything resembling accuracy from a break action single shot

Im not trying to argue but im neck sizeing onley for my TC (contender and pro hunter)
in 7-30 waters and 30-06 you have to watch your case leanth. as for accuracy im still able to shoot sub moa at 1oo yds with each barrel.(provideing that i do my part) im now working on a 30-30 barrel for my contender. on my 7-30 ive loaded this set of cases 4 times with no problems. and for my 06 this makes the 3x loading. the 7-30 is made by bullberry and the 06 and 30-30 is made by thompson. for more info go to (specialty pistol fourms). I hope that this helps..
