Custom AK from Ohio Rapid Fire

I recently brought home my customized Bulgarian SLR-101 from ORF (http://www.ohiorapidfire.com/index.htm) . It started life as a Bulgarian SLR-101 with green polymer furniture and the factory(fugly)muzzle brake. For starters the gas block and front sight were cut, welded and blended to create a combo unit. The barrel was cut and crowned and an amd-65 "snake brake" was installed to bring the barrel to legal limits. After the work the entire rifle was parked and molycoated to an attractive semi-gloss finish. The finished product is awesome and is probably the best looking non-traditional ak I've ever seen.
My photo skills are crappy and don't do the rifle justice.

I wish I knew, I'm currently in between shooting ranges. I've started the process of becoming a member of the troy rod and gun club, prolly be a couple of weeks :cuss:

I take it that you live in the Troy area. I used to live in the Dayton area. I always ended up going down to Spring Valley. It's a long drive, but very cheap for a years membership, $25 last I knew (and you can pick it up at any Wal-Mart). If you've never been, they have a very nice facility.
