So, it's about 18 degrees outside and pretty windy. Went shooting, and came home early...was too cold. Decided to do some annual cleaning since there was nothing else to do. Cleaned all my rifles inside out. Used my new Birchwood Casey Rig Grease in the 1.5 oz tube. Much easier to use than the old can. The formula seems the same as the Silencio stuff I still have. I couldn't tell any difference. I'm really glad Rig is back. Just thought I'd share my experience with the new stuff. If you haven't tried it, give it a shot.

I have been unable to find it anywhere locally yet.
But I am certainly glad to hear it is back, and apparently unchanged.
I never did care for the cans either.
Always bought it in the tubes for 40 years.
A little goes a long long ways on a sheepskin rig-rag.

Yeah, I had to buy it at www.ambientsw.com. Haven't seen it locally either. I think Brownells also has it now too.
