i'm told i can get better groups if i put the free floating barrel kit on my bushy.

but my use for this rifle is more for coyotes and woodchucks

will a free floating barrel have any effect on or limit its usefulness in the field?

which way would you go?

thanx

280,

Yes the float tube should give you better groups. Also, it should take the stress off of the barrel if you are using a bipod or sling. As far as feild use, aside from accuracy, it should have no impact--However, it will shange the balance a bit, and some feel that float tubes may heat up faster than the Mil. type handguards.

Good luck,
