i have a 12 guage oner-under belgium says st louis mo- is it built in st louis,its a 60,s model

need a little more information than that - pics are always helpful. If not, then ALL markings both on the barrels, under them, and anywhere else not visible when assembled.

under the gun it says lightning browning,gold trigger,on the left side barrel it says browning arms company st louis mo montreal p.q. under that special steel 12ga shells 2/34 right side barrel patents no2 203378-223386 under that made in belgium metal body has alot of engraveing,wood has typical engraveing- the part u hold your hand on the lower nub is rounded instead of straight cut-thanks for any help

Sounds like you have a Belgian Browning superposed. Depending on the engraving, and whether it is factory, could mean a decent difference in value. Proofhouse.com lists years of mfg. for Browning by serial number, which will either be on the tang on the trigger guard or by the safety lever. Round knob, aka Prince of Wales grip leads me to believe it is a field model and not a target one. Pics would be nice - not just to help but also 'cause those guns are well-made and easy on the eyes...... :D
