So I was looking around and using up some bandwidth at http://www.bradycampaign.org/ when I read this (written by the victim's mom) in the bio of one of the victims in their victims gallery.

http://www.bradycampaign.org/activism/victims/gerald_higgs.asp

...Gerald worked as a courthouse guard. He was required to carry a gun, but didn't. In fact he kept putting off the mandatory gun training at the rifle range..... At 3:00 am, two Baltimore Police Detectives showed up and informed us that Gerald had been murdered earlier in the evening.

Hmmm... the bios all seem to leave out the details of how the victims died, but can't help but wonder: What might have happened had the victim not been such a ninny as to work as an armed guard without a gun?

Shaking my head and going to bed...

Matt

I feel badly for his family, but again... here is a classic case of your typical armed career criminal vs. a man with no gun. When are they going to learn?

I'm really surprized that the Brady gang is trying to make use of Gerald's story... it tends to back every basic point that we have been trying to make.

Those without swords may still die upon them.

Of course, those who wish us not to have swords, have plenty of their own.

The Brady Bunch want us to be as ignorant, ill-prepared and untrained as Gerald. Ain't gonna happen, girls!:fire:

He was required to carry a gun, but didn't.

Way past stupid.
