I saw that. That was pretty interesting. I think that was the Uberti factory.

I watched it and came away with more questions than answers. It was shot in the Urberti factory was not at all what I expected. The one thing that bothered me was using a piece of wood to tightening the frame to the barrel instead of using a frame tool that almost every poster on this subject recommends. I guess it is a matter how much they can show in 5-5\2 min time frame of the segment.

GG what bothered me the most was just "eye balling" the barrel alignment to the frame.

I would have thought they would have had some sort of laser alignment tool.

I missed the episode as well, but would like to see it... What else did they feature on that episode??? I am going to try to catch it on a re-run on my DVR, but none of the shows coming up list any kind of "western revolver replica" on their information line...

EDIT: It appears to be either episode #615 or Season 7, Episode 16... The episode is not set to show again anytime soon here. If you google "how its made western revolver", the top link is to Amazon, and you can watch the episode for $1.99. The free preview they give you shows probably a third of the portion of that episode we are all interested in. I am trying to obtain it from "other sources". If I can manage this, I will attempt to share with everyone...

I was a bit bothered by the narrater's lack of knowledge, he was obviously reading a script, but he misnamed parts and functions of parts as they were shown and assembled. Other than that, it was fun to watch.
