SWEEEET!!!! Good Pick Dan Wessons are of nearly perfect quality. I have one in my family that is worlds nicer than one of my Springfields.

Well , HAPPY B-Day !!! Lube up the rails , brl. hood , and brl. bushing area before you fire it ----- I think LOTS of 1911 problems are from being underlubed.

Yes!!I got my Dan wesson PM7 in 40cal out of Layaway!!best birthday gift ever to myself!!here it is after i cleaned it..shot 100 rounds and man this thing is very tight!!i had some premature slide locking back with ammo still in the mag, it was after 5 shots the slide will lock as if i'm empty, so last night i spend atleast 1hr racking the slide back and fort to help loosen it up a little bit..

That thing is beautiful! I love stainless guns.

What made you decide to go for a .40 instead of a .45? Not judging here, just curious.

crashinblack i already have some 1911 in 45acp and besides i'm turning 40 :evil:on my birthday:p..bhunter the pricetag was 985..the weird thing i went to the danwesson website and the Pointman 7 in 40 s&w was not on the list, it said 9mm,45 and 10mm, they do make it on their SSC line, and to those who have the newer DW do yours came with the recoil buffer thingy?(the blue thing in the guide rod in one of my pics..)
