Anyone have a ...Mendoza?

Don't know WHAT you would call it. Revolver or whatever? It was a single shot pistol that LOOKED like a SAA but was a cheapo single shot that held EXTRA AMMO on the sides.
ca: 1959-63 or so.
THAT'S what I am curious about. Can't tell from pictures HOW those rounds were held on.
Clips? Leather loops?
Anyone?

saw pictures of it, anyway.
Made in Mexico, single shot pistol in 22 lr. Designed and made by Mendoza, an arms firm that also made the Mendoza 45 ACP handgun for the Mexican military.
Never have seen one in the flesh, so to speak. I don't know what the "storage" was made from, but always thought it was metal clips. Just my impression.
