The article demonstrates yet again that it is the person, not the gun/weapon that kills.

From what I've read, the worlds weapon of choice for murder / asassinations before the invention of guns was poison. It;ll probably be making a comeback, especially with all the modern chems and stuff.

A little rhubarb leaves in your salad, sir?

Note: Joking. Joking. Rhubarb leaves are POISONOUS!!!

Obviously the Times staff has been attending too many cadre political lectures.Still, I give it credit for specifically mentioning that, devoid of guns, the Chinese are resorting to other means for murders - again implying that "guns don't kill, people do."

Fire has been repeatedly proven to be a terrible mass murder weapon, as recent cases in Korea, China and Australia show. Evil people always find a way to commit their crimes.

Evil people always find a way to commit their crimes.Unless good people are allowed to be armed to defend themselves. :)
