I wouldn't mind having this gun either. It is something different and would stand out in my collection of "evil black guns"....

We know what General Patton said about a pearl handled revolver. I wonder what he would have said about a pearl handled 1911. :rolleyes:

The shiny .38 Supers used to be marketed to folks "South of the border" who weren't allowed military caliber 1911s. Colt has an entire line of limited-edition, super-shiny 1911s in .38 Super called the "EL" series.
