Has anyone used the Remington 1100 tactical model? It looks pretty nice from photos I have seen on the Remington website... but how is the 1100 as a platform for a defense shotgun?

Any advice would be appreciated.

1100 as HD/SD/Tac shotgun?

The 1100 makes a fine SD shotgun. It is very fast and the recoil is mild...part of what makes it fast, I suppose.

Just make sure you replace the O-ring every once in a while.

I use one of the 1100 Tac 4's for multigun matches and it is very reliable. However, my bedroom gun is an 870. While the 1100 is very reliable, the 870 is absolutely reliable.
