Has anyone tried the Remington 870 magazine extensions on a Partner gun? I know that most of the 870 parts interchange except the barrel.

Go down to the Pardner threads and find post from Max100 his email is there and he is the resident expert on these guns and I believe he sells extensions or can give the info you need.

All 870 extensions will fit but they will be short or long on the Pardner Pump. You can remove the black plastic spring retainer and that will add +1 with some shells.

The Pardners have magazine tube dimples that have to be removed to use an extension. I'm at the point in life I'd as soon not mess with dimples in a magazine tube any more, but YMMV. The Pardner has a 5-shot magazine as is, that's fine by me.

If I were going to add an extension I'd drill the dimples out completely and be done with them. Again, YMMV.

If your using 2 3/4 shells it will hold 5 in the tube and 1 in the pipe.
