Anyone try one on a P series and NOT like it? Tried it AND liked it?

I'm wondering how much of a difference they make, from firsthand reports.

'Tanks!

I have one of each on my SIG 239s. I prefer the short trigger when using aftermarket wood grips, and the standard trigger when using the factory plastic grips. IMO, though, the SIG 239 doesn't need the short trigger. However, the short trigger can be a godsend to people with small hands who want to shoot the 220/229/228/226 guns.

It is all about personal preference and hand size. :)

...I owned 10 SiG's. All but the P232 and Trailside were fit with short triggers. I still have 4 SiG's with them and think they ought to be a standard, or at least an optional item. Don't buy direct from SiG - they'll soak you for $50 plus $10 for shipping. I think I got mine from cheaperthandirt or somewhere like that.

I installed one on my 226. It was nice but it didnt make much of a tangible difference for me. The downside was the shorter leve increased the DA pull.

From what I understand when the 239 came out they all had the short trigger on them. Well so many people called and complained that Sig decided they should ship them with the regular trigger.

Those of us who have tried the short triggers and NOT liked them, interested in a trade? I think it's worth a try.
