Anyone used these? They are pretty cheap and I know you generally get what you pay for but so far everything I've read about Vortex scopes in general has been amazing. Most of the reviews seem to be for the mid priced Diamondback scope they offer though. I've only found a couple for the Crossfire line but even the few I've seen for it are great.

Anyone here used one? The most important thing to me would be the ability to hold zero. The second most important would be clarity. How are these in low light? How are they in the day time? How do these compare brightness and clarity wise to a Burris Fullfield II?

I can't say for the low end model, but Vortex offers great customer service so I am sure if it were to break/fail they would replace it for you no problem.

I have heard from a good, reliable source that all of the Vortex optics (with the possible exception of the Razor series) are some of the best buys in the market right now. That said it is still a budget optic so I wouldn't expect it to rival a nice Monarch or Elite 4200. I have looked at the Viper series and they appear to have good glass for the money. Overall I wouldn't be afraid to give one a shot and just referred a friend to one of the Crossfires (6-24x50mm IIRC) for an optic for a future .223Rem. bolt gun.

:)
