Do you think that the shotgun fitted with a folding stock would fit in the tube?

I like the idea, and may get one anyway, but having a folding a good folding stock would be great. I would try to go with a Butler Creek steel folder, for the sake of durability.

f you plan on burying your gun in a tube, get your gun, then buy the tube that is the right size versus the other way around

I believe being buried is what the mossberg JIC is intended for, or at least one of its intended purposes

Why would you buy a brand new shotgun, then bury it? That's no fun!
