I've got a S&W 10-5 with matching diamond magna stocks, grips are numbered to the gun, but I kinda thought the 10-5 was a mid 60's change and the diamond magnas were 50's, is this a transitional period gun? Serial# C783xxx Thanks for any imput, regards, Kman

10-5 was made only in 1962. The diamond center was not eliminated until c. 1967. If in doubt, check the serial number stamped inside the right grip.
