I am looking for a good scope that I won't have to pay a lot for. Trying to find a good one for under $120. Anybody have any suggestions? Oh and it will be used mainly for Coyotes and Squirrels.

I just bought a new Redfield for my 30-06. Best "cheaper" scope I have ever used. Cost around $150.

Lol, you trying to get the squirrels already shredded to chili meat bits before you take them home?

I'd look at something in the Bushnell Banner line, or maybe a Mueller or Vortex, in that price range. Maybe NC Star.

little mor money but i just spent the day at basspro comparing optics and vortex is just as clear as leupold or nikon for way less money with a no bullcrap unconditional warranty. From what i read if you accidently run it over with your truck they will fix it. I bought a pair of Vulture binos today and i really like them quite a bit.

You know, I mentioned Vortex in passing, but Pat I think you're right - Vortex is just not screwing around, are they, with that non-BS lifetime warranty? It's hard to recommend Banners anymore in the low price range with the Vortexes out - the Banners, though they work, are not too clear, and certainly no lifetime warranty. I too would take a serious look at the Vortex.

I don't know anything about the new Redfields, but *IF* the warranty is the same as their parent brand of Leupold (big if), then they should also be a good value.

Im a diehard leupold fan because of a deal i got on 2 riflescopes, they are awesome. With what i saw today though the next time im looking for a scope im going to be looking very very hard at the vortex for sure. I can pretty much guarantee that i would choose one of those over a simmons or bushnell or any of the classic cheapies. I would very likely get one over a nikon. My dad and i compared my 10x50 vultures to his 10x50 leupolds and the biggest difference we noticed is the vortex weigh a little less. Not saying they are better.......yet. It will take a few years of good performance for me to make that statement.
