Was "Browning" the Ivory Grip Cap a Good Idea?

Before and after photos of my Ithaca 37.
Stock came with a white ivory grip cap.
Do you think "Browning" it was a good idea?

meh.
its cool either way. i might like browning it a TINY bit more...but worth the effort? not sure.
dont mess with the gun anymore, please. id die to have one like that.

I like the original ivory look myself, but that is only my opinion. Both look good, I just like the 'natural' look.

I like the brown better. Infact a little darker would be more to my taste. But either way you did a great job.:)

You've also got the possibility of Scrimshaw open to you...very easy to do; very hard to do well.
