I've got a 28 inch barrel on my Winchester 1200 now, but I'm looking for an 18 incher. I just checked Numrich and all of their 12 gauge barrels are out of stock, and I don't expect them to get any more. Gunbroker has had a few, but I really don't want to pay $175 for a barrel. Any places you guys have seen that have any Winchester 1200 (or 1300) barrels for sale, reasonably priced?

It's not 18" but I've got a 1300 24" barrel with rifle sights marked 'Deer Slug' I'd sell for $50 + shipping. It will fit your 1200. It has a little surface rust in a couple of places- I tried to buff out one of the spots- and the smooth bore- not rifled- isn't perfect but it's a good, usable barrel. I could send you some pictures if you're interested.

As I understand it. The 1300 barrels will work on a 1200. You just cant shoot 3inch ammo out of the 2 3/4 inch reciever of the 1200. Here is a link to Midwest Gun Works, that has a bunch of barrels for the 1300. Good luck.

Man I feel your pain. Picked up a nice 1200 and thought about doing exactly what you're described but so far have found very few barrels for under $200. Makes me sad because I only paid $160 for the shotgun! If you have any luck let me know, but as mentioned above the 1300 barrel will fit on the 1200 as well. And although it is a rumor, I believe the FN Police Shotgun barrel will also work. (Again, overpriced and hard to find) Good luck!

Last year I posted that I recently came into a Winchester 120.

Withing a few months someone came along offering me a barrel for it. I didn't have the money at the time, so I passed on it. Didn't matter since I was able to pick up a Defender 1300.

For the price of an additional barrel, one can almost by a decent used gun.

i dont know if he still has it but on febuary 8th poster,"moonclip had a 18" 1200 barrell for dirt cheapneeded some cleanup,i wanted it, on classifieds,shows it never sold ?never know.
