did you pick yours up used? whats the capacity on it? what would you pay if you had it to do over again? looks like yours has an extended tube. some ive seen dont come with them, so theres probably two different prices.

im mulling over an m1 or m3 as the next shotgun purchase, which wont be for awhile. of course, deals sometimes pop up.

It belongs to a friend of mine. He got it new, not HK marked, and that's a factory extension which I understand is pretty rare. I believe it holds 6 in the tube (2.75" shells) but I'll double check tonight if I remember.

I wouldn't buy one personally. They are exceedingly cool but I've shot it back to back with my 590 and prefer the 590. Even going semi- versus pump I can pretty much keep up with the rate of fire of the benelli as it takes longer to recover from the increased recoil. But the coolness factor is undeniable, and sometimes it's worth it. I need to practice more with the M3. :D

I'm thinking about an M2. But I've already bought like 4 shotguns since Thanksgiving... maybe I should let my credit card cool down a bit.

I wish I could watch it but the military computers won't let me go to youtube. Anyway, I want to see the differences between your friend's and mine. Mine is HK marked, and I can fit 9 rounds of 00 buck if I ride one on the carrier. I never thought that the recoil was excessive but I am interested in putting a ComforTech stock on it. There is no buffer or spring in the stock, so you should be able to switch it out with whatever you want, providing it will bolt on. Does anybody know the significance of the HK stamp and what other stocks you can put on it. Anyway, I highly recomend the gun, it's pretty accurate and a hell of a HD weapon.

This is a shorter one... it holds 7 2.75" shells in the mag if they're not Winchester SuperX slugs (which have a slightly longer case than bargain birdshot shells). It will hold 6 2.75" slugs in the mag, or 6 3" shells.

How do you ride one on the carrier? What I mean is, I know how to GET one on the carrier, but once you do that, you can't put another shell in the mag to top it off.
Do people actually remove the mag extension, load it that way, and reinstall just to get one more round in the gun? Or am I missing something?
