I would have made this a poll, but...

There doesn't seem to be a poll option anymore. Is it gone, or just a minor VBulletin problem that will be solved later on?

:)

Thanks for the heads-up. We're working on it.

No problem, Doc. Tad is who caught it, I just followed up and found the same problem.

Personally I hope they stay gone as I find them irksome and normally not worth reading. But that is just my opinion and as they say you get what you pay for.

I agree with you that they are usually not worth reading, but I'm curious about which ones have actually been useful out of the torrent of them we've had?

My daughter will often ask something along the lines of "What's your favorite dog/cat/horse/etc." of me and my wife and her friends when the answer isn't going to teach anyone anything, even her. I don't remember my son ever having asked over and over again this same sort of question. Once was usually sufficient.

As such I don't get the current poll-interest in minutia.

I'm curious about which ones have actually been useful out of the torrent of them we've had?In general, the ones that ask a serious question. FWIW, I actually wasn't going to create a poll, but I have in the past because it allows you to tally up the "score" easily. The only problem is keeping track of which entry was worthwhile, and which ones were simply chosen at random by someone without an informed opinion/without experience.

I hate the darn things, it is almost like Facebook Fan Groups or some inane teenager that I have to "listen" to in email with his constant lists of his address, and all the rest of his personal information.
I want solid information and not what some internet commando suggests as fact.
