Am soon to order a replacement barrel from Maverick Arms to go on my Mossberg, anybody have any expirence with them? Thanks, pros and cons, cheers and jeers appreciated. This is a big help.

Maverick arms is owned by mossberg. You shouldn't have any problems

Have Maverick 88 w/Mossberg brand barrel. 18-1/2" cyl-bore

Put my 28" Mod choke Mav88 barrel on my OLD Mossberg 500 so I could use 3" & the "non-toxic unleaded" ammo in the Mossy.

As long as the barrels are the same guage and magazine capacity, no problems. Mavs/Mossys are available in 6 & 8 shot models.

Maverick and Mossberg shotguns are made in the same factory by the same employees. Maverick is just their lower priced brand.
