I am in desperate need of the model # of a shotgun i just purchased. The details are:
S.p.A. Luigi Franchi - Brescia - Made In Italy magnum 3" (m/m 76)
12-ga. semi-auto
serial # is 141368
If anyone can help answer this, I would very much appreciate it!

Luigi Franchi made the Model AL-48 until 1998 when they sold out to Beretta. I'm thinking that you have a Magnum model of the AL-48. The standard models were 2 3/4".
If ever a better semiauto was made, I haven't found it yet. Your 3" model was for waterfowling and turkey hunting. I've never saw a 3" model in the flesh but the 2 3/4" models were great, lightweight field guns.
