Ok I was loading some 380 the other night and broke my decapper pin and bent the threaded rod. I dont know how I bent the rod but I did. I tried to get a replacement localy but to no luck. So I called up RCBS to order a replacement. I talked to a nice lady and explained what I had done. I explane that I dont know how I did it but that I did do it and that it was not a problem with there product and wanted to order a replacement part. She asked for my name and address and said "one is on its way with priority shipping and at no cost to you!" I was floored !!! I broke the thing but they are still going to honer it under the warrenty!!! I thank that I will go a buy some more RCBS equipement today:D

:D hehehe I think that happend after I had watch the "HULK" movie with my son!!:scrutiny: I still dont know how I bent the rod. one would think that to do that you would feel it in the handle. unless it had been starting to bend over time and I finanly pushed it over the edge.

While reloading .30/06 rounds for my M1 garand, I was using a RCBS X-die (they work great!) I noticed minute longitudinal (sp?) scratches on the case neck.

Emailed RCBS..........their answer............return for a free replacement.

I've been using RCBS products for over 10 years........and with a customer service like that......I will continue to use them for a long, long time :)

I believe R.C.B.S. wrote the book on going miles past everybody else's customer service stancards.

Twenty-odd years after I bought my Rock Chucker, I called R.C.B.S. to ask whether I could buy an attachment to use the press with my left hand for the sake of my arthritis. It's not an ambidextrous press, but the woman insisted on sending me a new ball-ended handle, and wouldn't even let me pay the postage!

I'll keep buying—and recommending—R.C.B.S. stuff.

I'm also very pleased with RCBS customer service. Had a similar problem with the decap/expander assembly in one of my RCBS dies. They had a peplacement part to me in 3 days, no questions asked.

Another pleased customer here and I didn't even buy anything to begin with! I was given a complete reloading setup with RCII press and everything else needed to reload including 3 sets of dies. However the scale I got was missing the wire that holds the pan and also missing the lead shot to calibrate it. I called RCBS to see if I could just order the wire and the nice gentleman said he would send one out right away no charge! WOW, I thought, these guys are great, I'm definately buying more of their stuff. When my package arrived in the mail, to my surprise, they sent the whole assembly! Hook, pan, and counterweight lead shot! Plus they included all the instructions and manuals for all my equipment! Top notch in my book.

I've had numerous items replaced by them as well. I bought a powder measure once really cheap because the previous owner had left gunpowder in the hopper and it somehow fused and melted it. I called RCBS and they replaced it free of charge. I have also had them replace the scale pans when the handle section work hardens from flexing and breaks. You know how their older dies had the round knurled aluminum lock collars and how they always seem to be stripped out when people use pliers to tighten them up? I had them replace all mine with new steel hex ones......free of course. If you have anything of theirs that is broke and needs to be replaced, give them a call......even it is free.

After 30 years of reloading on my Rockchucker, I have never had to call them about anything. That's the best service you can ask for.

I bought a RockChucker kit last year because of comments like this. I bet RCBS figures great customer service like this is the best advertising they could hope for. Advertising like this sells product IMNSHO.

I call RCBS, "I screwed up, again, and wrecked my RCBS equipment."
The RCBS female voice, "Why you poor thing! I am going to send you a handful of new parts right now!"
My conscience, "Clark you are a thief to take this hand out."
The female voice, "Can I get your address?"
My mouth, "Uh, sure..."

I write Lee, "Your part does not work"
Lee eventually responds, "It's your fault. Plonk"
My emotions, "Clark, you being abused, get angry , very angry."
My mind, "Clark, you paid practically nothing for the Lee dies, what did you expect?"

I call up Forster, "I found a problem"
They respond, "We are sending you a new one, and notifying our engineering of the problem."
