WRF= Winchester Rim Fire. An older, less powerful .22WMR round.
C&R= Curios and Relics. A category of firearms as well as a collector's license. Allows direct acquisition of older, usually mil-surp firearms. Any firearm that is over 50 (I think) years old.

Any others? The gun world is ripe with acronyms.

Here are a few common on gun forums
FTF:

FTE = Failure To Extract or Eject

OP = Original Poster or Post

BTT = Back To Top

AR's have a whole sub set unto themselves. BCG, FSB, BUIS, FA . . . . .

Just beware the dreaded 'BUIS sights.'
