Just got the word. Dec. 3 was no good as it was less than 30 days after Ohmer's 11/7 ruling. Meanwhile the financial damages are mounting. The plaintiffs need to pray that no one gets seriously injured or killed in a carjacking.

John, ask TJ what he thinks about mental anguish from having to exist in an area where you know you are easy prey for muggers, rapists, and other assorted nasties...

Then, when he quits laughing...

He isn't laughing. In late Sept., his wife accepted a role in a theater production in a bad neighborhood only because she "knew" she'd be able to carry there when rehearsals started in December.

She may have an actionable claim. We're all holding off, for now.

I wonder how many ordinary law-abiding Missourians are going to die because they couldn't legally defend themselves while government twiddles its thumbs.

I wish you guys the best in this one. It sounds like you guys are confident that the SC will rule in your favor. Hopefully, we'll have shall issue in all 50 states (and Puerto Rico and other areas).
