Blue optics coating -- why?

Hey folks, a quick question for you: I've seen many red dots / reflex sights with a blue hue to them (even high end ones like the Triji RMR). Why? It seems to me that you'd want the maximum amount of light transmission possible. What did I miss here? Thanks for your time.
