is the HK p2000 out yet? if so does anyone have any thoughts or exeriences on them? kinda HKs version of a P99 eh?

last i heard the pistols were in country waiting for some sort of approval from the ATF. they'll be here soon enough.

The last thing that I heard was that the BATF was not letting HK sell them because they said that the mags could be converted to hold more than 10 rounds too easily. The blurb that I read also stated that the BATF wanted HK to change the mag design before the P2000 would be allowed to be sold in this country.

Price is out there, so HK might as well ship them back. Quote from wholesaler RSR is $809. Add some profit margin and the guns are unsellable.

I talked to the HK guy last week and he said 'in a few weeks' :confused:
