I recently purchased a new Baby Eagle .40SW as my first handgun. I have to say, this is one fantastic gun! 250 rounds now (tenessee cartridge reloads) in 2 weeks, and it has been flawless. I couldn't pass up on this gun for $369 that he sold it to me for. I have fired friends' Sig p26 9mm, glock 22. But the price on the eagle made me buy it. I'll step up to something more expensive later I guess.

Also wanted everyone else that owns a baby eagle to know that magnum Research now has Hoghue grips with finger grooves (replacement screw on kind, not the universal slip-on). They were made available this week for $26 and fit the 9mm and .40 with the 3 3/4" full size grips.
I'll let you all know how they feel when I get them in. I have the universal slip-on on it now and I hate the palm swell.

The Baby Eagle's are very nice guns, and it looks like you got a great deal too. A buddy of mine has one in 9mm, feels very good in the hand. The design is based on the CZ-75, a very highly acclaimed pistol.

A buddy of mine has a Baby Eagle in 9mm. He's put thousands of rounds through, with hardly a problem. I think that they're great for the $.

Thanks everyone. This stuff is an addiction :D I just shot a friends Beretta 92FS this morning. I really like it, and I'm thinking about getting a stainless one.

I had the same gun, dealer bought it back from me. I couldn't get the damn thing to work right. However, the grip is magic and it was the most comfortable shooting .40 I've ever come across.
