New Sureshell side carrier on Benelli SuperNova Tac... PICS

My new Mesa Tactical Sure shell rail/side saddle came in... Man is it nice quality!!! Beautifully made... The gun is a Benelli SUper Nova Tactical w/PG stock and GR sites... I like it, although I may upgrade to an M2 Tactical in 6 months or so... Whatcha think? (Sorry for the crappy iPhone pics... I need to break out the camera..)

Is there room for the forearm to clear? Could be the pictures make everything look shorter, but...

Yeah it clears perfectly. Mesa recently redesigned these as the original ones has some sharp edges that would bite you when the action was worked. ths new model is nice as the sidesaddle is offset back from teh rail, and doesn't even start until after the first tap hole on the receiver. One of the nicer accessories I have bought...

Not sure as I have never seen the tacstar sidesaddle in person, although I have their +2 mag extension on the gun.

Reason I went with this one is that it is built-in to the rail which mounts on the pre-tapped receiver. It seemed pretty nice in theory, and turned out the same in excecution.
