Except for pony rides and giant orange sodas, eh? :scrutiny:
Anyway, I was originally posting my confusion and dislike of the end of a thread that whose theme had been used in creating threads before. While I realize that those threads may have been setting a bad precedence and the Moderators are now taking steps for preventative maintenance, a little warning would be nice.
Did yall get a new set of rules to moderate by? Things seem to be a little more strict than it used to be. I used to come here for a majority of my political info and stories, and commentary about them. It seems that we (the non-mods) are being broadsided by new policies that are a little hard to define. I have seen many threads get locked in the past two weeks for not being "L&P material"* that I thought contained information or reporting on material of a legal or political nature. When I read L&P, I expect to find not just "civil liberties"** issues, but all things of a Legal and Political nature.
Oh well, its not my board and I am not a mod on it. I guess I will just have to go to my corner, pout about it, and then get on with life. Time to google for more forums...Sad really, I liked it here. :(
*Just to summarize the reasons given...
**The definition of which seems to have recieved a strict and skewed re-defining...
Edited to add: Gee, I guess this seems to sum it up. I really must apologize for my attitude, but as you can tell I am seriously displeased with this sort of thing, and I feel that all the mods should note that. Even if there isnt a complaints department, the least everyone in charge can do is listen to the little peon's complaints before they squish them.:fire: I am going to bed.
