I'm looking for a good holster for my Glock 26. The Alessi Talon looks sharp and I like the fact that it can be used without a belt (at least according to the company). Anyone here have one? Are they comfortable to wear while sitting? Unfortunately the site doesn't site what size belt width it fits up to.

If I don't get the Talon I'm also considering the Bianchi 100. Any experience with them? Are they secure?

I don't mind spending the extra money no the Talon, but if the Bianchi 100 is comparable, I'll just get the Bianchi.

Then someone on another forum said I should ditch the idea of a clip holster altogether because even the highend ones come off your waistband/belt when drawing.

I was given a Bianchi 100. It is made of soft leather and is also a sort of "generic" fit, therefore does not retain the gun of its own friction all that well. It is also somewhat thick. I relegated it to holding my gun in my car's center console. Spring steel clips can grip fabric with a degree of clamping force, until they start to fatigue and bend. If you must carry a IWB holster sans belt, I would recommend the Alessi with its "Talon Clip" that actually "bites" into the fabric.
