Finding out anything on this model is close to impossible, and the pdf from the Armscor website leaves a lot to be desired, I also need to find out If I can make the butt stock from something else fit.

Well, the wood foreend is reminiscent of a Winchester - a model 12, maybe? - as is the front of the receiver. I don't know about the double bands holding the magazine and barrel together. Since we can't see the ejection port, no help there.

correct me if im wrong but that looks a lot similar to a mossberg. furthermore, that has a tacstar pistol grip (pretty sure). that has to be a mossberg clone.

right?

Nope. My guess is it's an update (with two action bars) of the High Standard Flite King, aka a J. C. Higgins Model 20. Same tipping bolt lockup in a steel receiver as a Win Model 12, same style open carrier that goes in the up position when the action is closed as a Mossberg. Slickest pumpgun action ever...

The schematic I printed from the Armscor pdf is all but useless, although
looking at the Numrich schematics will some times about make you blind. (http://www.gunpartscorp.com/images/schematics/Winchester_12_schem.jpg) The ones they have for the High Standard and J C Higgins (http://www.gunpartscorp.com/images/schematics/HighStandard_200_schem.jpg) ultimately go to the same picture... Oh yeah, (High Standard Flite King, aka a J. C. Higgins Model 20, so noted)
It's the only Mossberg pic I can find (http://www.okiegunsmithshop.com/mossberg500.jpg), although it (and the others) also have clarified some parts for me :)
Still not sure what butt stock to use.
Edit... again: Yeah, it looked like someone replaced the butt stock with something like this. (http://www.brownells.com/.aspx/pid=13099/Product/SHOTGUN_TACTICAL_GRIP)

I'm not a huge fan of PGO shotguns.ATI also makes a collapsible M16 style stock that's almost as compact in it's fully collapsed position, and a whole lot more usefull.

I think I'm going to have to take that route, as it looks to to fit a wide assortment of shotguns, and there's more than a few wood ones out their that sound to be rather specific as to what they fit, although I'd rather have wood :(

as has been stated i would guess an amalgamation of the mossberg 500/maverick and the winchester model 12/1300. basically a high standard.

So would this fit?

It'll fit an 870, but I doubt it'll fit what you have without more modification than you'd want to do.

Do you actually have the shotgun in the pictures in your possession? If so, take off the PG and post a picture of the back of the receiver where the buttstock attaches. It'll be easier to tell if a High Standard stock will fit it with that pic.

The back of the HS/JCH20 receiver has a sort of C shaped recess (open at the bottom where it fits the extension of the trigger plate) machined around the hole for the stock bolt that centers up the buttstock. The stock has a ridge shaped to fit that recess.

Bolt/carrier looks identical to a Flite King. The more pertinent question is whether the Armscor parts will fit a Hi-Standard. Those buttpads are fairly granite on most samples... :D

Not as of yet, but I have won the auction. I wanted to find out what I could change the butt stock out with to make it more versatile.

Congrats on winning the auction. I think it's the same shotgun as the Rock Island M5 currently being imported from Armscor, but since I haven't had my hands on either one yet I can't say for sure. See http://www.centerfiresystems.com/rockislandm5tactical12gashotgunpartac-sgn-m5.aspx for some pictures, if all else fails maybe the stock off the M5 will fit- it seems to be a copy of the Flite King.

At any rate, when you pick it up, take a look at the back of the receiver and you'll pretty well know. Just look for that C shape I mentioned above.

Can anyone confirm a pistol grip that will fit the M5? I bought a Mossy that does not fit.
