It was dropped, the stock was not repairable back to pretty and the barrel dinged pretty bad.
Cut and recrown barrel. Cut one inch off buttstock added Bedliner and deck taped the stock.
Ugly slip on Winchester Limbsaver slip on recoil pad brings it back to length.
Burris 2X7 Timberline Scope.
Burris QD rings.
XS Scout mount.
Williams peep site.
Brownells Hammer shoe, just for extra grip

What is the eye relief on that scope? Can you see through it with it that far foward? Looks good by the way. Any "before" pics?

You may see part of the damage to the stock in the last photo, the barrel also had a significant "ding" in it before it was cut.
I pinned, glued and cut the stock down then brought it back to length with the ugly slip on recoil pad. The truck bedliner spray worked well. I did three coats and then put the deck/step tape on and three more coats. It grips, but isnt too abrasive.
The Scope is a Burris Timberline LER 2X7. it is fine, just where it sits. The Q/D rings make it a handy addition.
It is ugly as heck, but I think it is a pretty good hog/truck/HD choice.
I will shoot it asap. I smashed a finger the same day I finished it, so I haven't been to the range with it yet.
